Operating Differences from North America:

In Russia, we are located in western Siberia at approximately 62 degrees latitude which, in North American terms, is north of the Arctic Circle. In this environment, we experience extreme temperature fluctuations in summer where we can see two months of 35ºC to winter where we can experience three months of temperatures of -44ºC or colder. The region has long winters and can receive up to 2.5 meters of snow, which affects working and driving conditions. In addition, we receive 20 hours of daylight in mid-summer and only four hours of daylight in the winter months due to our northern location. Since this results in many jobs being pumped at night, we have ultimately become a 24-hour a day service company.

Newco provides a far broader array of services related to its fracturing service customers in Russia than is typically provided in Canada. We provide everything for fracturing the well including down hole equipment needed for the treatment, surface storage equipment, fluid hauling, fluid heating, down hole equipment delivery, and fluid disposal. We complete all aspects of a job, which in North America, would take the services of at least seven third party companies to complete.
